OPS has entered into discussions with several manufacturers of low cost domestic energy meters. These are at the heart of any rational approach to management of local energy use.

These meters have particular features including:

• Time of day billing;
• Local control of particular loads;
• Pre paid card for energy purchase;
• Data communications for external management and assessment.
