Mr Len Wright

Photo of Len WrightIn the 1990’s Len was employed by the University of Western Australia in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department as a Senior Research position in the Electronics Division.
He operated an electronics consultancy and PCB business with work undertaken in the medical electronics field associated with the design and development of automatic insulin infusers for use by diabetics. This was followed by a processor controlled ultrasonic automatic seeding/cultivation Depth Control System for use in the agricultural area.

From 1994 he was employed by Murdoch University Energy Research Institute (MUERI) specialising in the development, construction and testing of Solar Control products and Sine Wave Inverter systems for standby power generation.

Len has since been involved in the design, development, construction and testing of products which include:

  • Single phase and three phase stand alone Inverter/Charger systems
  • Processor Controlled Grid Tied Inverter systems up to 250kVA capacity
  • Processor Controlled RAPS Inverter/Genset/Solar/Wind interactive systems with inverters up to 300kVA capacity with full remote control and monitoring capability.

Mr Ashok Prakash

In the 1990’s Ashok worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Bangalore Institute of Technology, Bangalore. He conducted courses in Electronic Circuits, Network Analysis and Synthesis and Power Electronics for Pre- Final and Final Year Engineering students.
Since 1990, he was a director at M/s. Athreyonix Systems (P) Ltd, Bangalore, a company dealing in Power Electronic Products/Systems for applications in areas of Telecommunication and Renewable Energy. As Senior Engineer at OPS, he is responsible for the project assessment, design and testing of power conditioners of capacities ranging from 10 KVA up to 100 KVA.

Mr Ritesh Lutchman

Ritesh has completed degrees in Electrical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Engineering (renewable Energy). He was employed by MLT Drives in Cape Town for 3 years from 2003 to 2007.
At MLT Ritesh worked on grid connect and standby power supplies, specialising in DSP controlled systems.
Ritesh joined Optimal Power Solutions in March 2007.
